The Cheapest and Easiest Way to Watch International Football from Thailand

In Thailand, watching Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, UEFA Champion League, and so on at home can be quite a headache.

This is because the companies who hold broadcast rights keep changing every year. Sometimes, AIS will offer the games. Sometimes, TrueVision will. Other times, it’s another company altogether.

You also have to meet specific conditions if you want to watch international football over these networks. The most basic being that you need to subscribe to one of their TV packages.

Fortunately, there is an easier and cheaper way to legally watch international football in Thailand. It costs you less than THB800 per year. And you don’t have to use a VPN.

Let’s take a look.

Updated: This trick doesn’t work well anymore in 2026 since beIN SPORTS has significantly increased its price to over 3,000 baht per year. As a result, the cheapest option is to use a VPN instead.

How to Do It

BeIN SPORTS, a global sport network from Qatar, has a great plan for sports lovers in Thailand.

By subscribing to its annual plan for THB799 per year, you can watch all the popular football leagues, including:

  • UEFA Champions League
  • UEFA Europa League
  • UEFA Europa Conference League
  • English FA Cup
  • La Liga
  • Serie A
  • Ligue 1

In some years, you are also able to watch the English Premier League with them.

You can watch all the games live, and beIN SPORTS also streams full replays of all the games for up to 14 days.

In addition to football, from time to time it also broadcasts other sports like Tennis, ATP Master, and Motor Racing.

Please note that starting in 2023, the price will increase to THB1,000 per year. But it’s still much cheaper than local Thai networks that charge at least THB400 per month.

What Devices Can You Watch From?

You can watch from your phone, tablet, computer, or TV.

BeIN SPORTS has a mobile app called beIN SPORTS Connect on iOS and Android, so you can watch directly on your phone or tablet.

You can also download the same app on your Android TV and watch from there. If you don’t have an Android TV, you can get an Android TV box and download the beIN SPORTS Connect app from the Google Play Store. The box should cost you no more than THB2,000.

You can also check with your Internet provider since your plan may already come with an Android TV box.

If you want to watch from your computer, you can watch from beIN SPORTS’ website. This means no matter where you go, you can watch international football without missing a single game.

Disadvantages

There are four main disadvantages to using beIN SPORTS.

First, you need to have a good Internet connection. But this isn’t a problem in Thailand since the Internet here is fast and stable. Even the cheapest Internet plan will be more than enough. The only exception will be if you live in a rural area.

And if you watch from your phone, be careful not to go over your data limit (unless you have an unlimited Internet plan).

The second disadvantage is that accessing the beIN SPORTS app on your TV may require extra steps if you can’t get a shortcut to the app on your TV’s home screen. In this case, you have to go to the Google Play Store, search for the app, and access it from there.

Also, the design of their app and website isn’t the best. It may not look legit to some people. But it works well and is surprisingly easy to use.

The third disadvantage is that you can only stream at 720p, which might not be sharp enough for big TV screens.

And finally, the fourth disadvantage is mostly aimed at non-native English speakers. But only English-language commentary is available on beIN SPORTS.
