How to Get the Best Exchange Rate in Thailand That’s Better than SuperRich (With Free Delivery, Too)

If you’re looking to exchange money in Thailand, SuperRich isn’t your only option. There is another money exchange service that can sometimes give you a better rate. And the best part? It can deliver the cash right to your doorstep on the same day for free, if you meet its minimum exchange amount and delivery is available.

The name of this money exchange service is X-One Currency Exchange

It’s located in Silom on Surawong Road. Here’s the address:

  • 149/7 Thanon Surawong,
  • Suriya Wong,
  • Bang Rak,
  • Bangkok 10500

Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/oMXSF6YRSGteTRF39

To get the current rate, just contact X-One on its Line Official Account and ask for their current exchange rate.

If you meet X-One’s minimum exchange amount, it’ll even deliver the money to you for free.

Here’s the breakdown:

  • within 5 km = THB50,000
  • within 7 km = THB70,000
  • within 10 km = THB100,000
  • within 15 km = THB150,000
  • within 20 km = THB200,000
  • within 30 km = THB300,000

Distance is calculated using Google Maps from X-One’s location to yours. If you don’t meet the minimum exchange amount, there’s a delivery fee of THB50 to THB300. Confirm the current minimum exchange amount and delivery fee with X-One when you book, as rates and delivery terms can change.

But even with the fee, it can still be better than SuperRich because you won’t have to wait in long lines at the money exchange service (which can sometimes take over 30 minutes).

To use X-One’s service, sign up on its website by entering your name, email, phone number, and uploading a picture of yourself holding your passport.

After that, reach out to X-One on its Line Official Account to schedule a delivery. It’ll send a messenger to deliver the money to your door, either on the same day or the next.

We’ve used the service ourselves.

In addition, our friend who runs a travel company uses it all the time. They’ve exchanged amounts as high as THB600,000 in one go.
