Affordable English-Language International Schools in Bangkok

If you’re looking to enroll your children in an English-language international school in Bangkok, or they’re already enrolled in one but you’re looking to move them to another school, you have plenty of affordable options.

Bangkok is home to dozens of quality international schools, and not all of them come with a hefty one-million baht price tag.

This guide will show you which international schools you can send your children to starting for under THB100,000 per year.

How We Picked These Schools

To simplify the process, we’ve chosen international schools in Bangkok based on the following:

  • the primary language used is English;
  • starting fees begin at THB100,000 per year (not including uniforms, books, etc.); and
  • they are located in or near Bangkok

We listed the schools in order from least to greatest in terms of starting costs. As with most international schools, fees increase as students get older. We’ve reflected this increase in the Starting Price Max. column of each table below.

That said, let’s start with one of the least expensive international schools in Bangkok.

Thai-English Bilingual Private Schools

In addition to the private international schools listed above, you can also send your child to one of the private Thai schools that have a bilingual program.

Both Sarasas and Assumption are well-known in Bangkok, and although the education that students receive at these schools is on par with some international schools, your kids will have to take a portion of the classes in Thai language. Usually, two to three classes per day are held in Thai.
