The first of two full-dress rehearsals for the 6 November Royal Barge Procession: decorated barges and oarsmen in ceremonial dress run the full route on the Chao Phraya at pace, without the main-day crowds. The second full-dress rehearsal follows on 28 October.

Watching from the riverbanks between Krung Thon Bridge and Wat Arun is free. Arrive early, and expect river-boat services to pause for part of the afternoon.
