Full Moon Party, Koh Phangan (October)

October’s Full Moon Party on Haad Rin beach, Koh Phangan. It moves to 27 October this month because the full moon on the 26th falls on Ok Phansa, the end of Buddhist Lent. Sound systems run the length of the beach from early evening until well after sunrise.

Read the organisers’ safety guidance before you go, particularly on swimming, fire ropes and drink spiking. Boats from Koh Samui and Surat Thani fill up in the days before.
