Phuket Vegetarian Festival 2026

Phuket’s Nine Emperor Gods festival fills Phuket Town with vegetarian food stalls and street processions for nine days, centred on the island’s Chinese shrines.

The opening rites are held at Jui Tui Shrine in Phuket Old Town, and the festival closes with a farewell ceremony on the night of 18 October. Some processions include ritual face piercing.
