The first edition of the Pattaya International Film Festival runs for nine days under the theme The Cinematic Wave, with 53 films from 28 countries.
Screenings are free at SFX cinemas around the city. The opening ceremony, red carpet and awards night are at Colosseum Show Pattaya on 28 August. The Tourism Authority of Thailand co-hosts, part of Pattaya’s bid to become a UNESCO Creative City of Film.
