The German-Thai Chamber of Commerce brings its Oktoberfest back to the Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit for two nights. It is the biggest and longest-running Oktoberfest on Bangkok’s expat calendar, regularly drawing more than a thousand guests a night.
The setup follows Munich: long wooden Festzelt benches, a Bavarian band flown in from Germany, imported Oktoberfest beer, German food and an after-party with a live DJ. Dirndl and lederhosen are common but not compulsory.
Booking is through the GTCC events page. Tables go early and the chamber has reported the 2026 edition filling up, so check availability before making plans.
