Full Moon Party, Koh Phangan (September)

September’s Full Moon Party on Haad Rin beach, Koh Phangan. Sound systems run the length of the beach from early evening until well after sunrise, each bar playing its own genre.

The organisers publish safety guidance worth reading first, particularly on swimming, fire ropes and drink spiking. Boats from Koh Samui and Surat Thani fill up in the days before, so book the crossing early.
