The Digital Nomad Coffee Club is Chiang Mai’s longest-running casual meetup for remote workers, freelancers, and online entrepreneurs. It started back in 2015 and still runs most weeks, bringing together a friendly mix of first-timers and long-term nomads over coffee.
The venue rotates between cafes around the city, often in or near the Nimman area, so the exact spot changes from week to week. Check the Facebook group for the current location before you head out. There is no agenda and no fee; you simply buy a drink to support the cafe and chat with whoever turns up.
It is one of the easiest ways to plug into Chiang Mai’s nomad scene. Regulars are happy to share local tips on visas, SIM cards, coworking spaces, and where to live, and it is a natural place to find people to work alongside or travel with. Complete beginners are very welcome.
